The silicone gun actually has many different names depending on where it is used. But we can basically define it as a silicone gun. Silicone guns are divided into hot and cold. The model we are working on is a cold silicone gun and is generally used in industrial areas. Silicone is basically an insulation material and the silicone gun has been developed to apply silicone to the surface easily. Silicone guns are generally purely mechanical and not too demanding. With its pistol-style appearance, when you press the trigger, it comes out from the silicone tip inside the tube.
The first caulking gun appears to have been invented by a Theodore Witte, a Canadian who patented it in 1894 as a "puttying tool," but it's possible they were first used in bakeries.
Today, it is used in industry, facade insulations, planes, kitchens, cars, glass bonding and many other places.
Although it basically works with a trigger system, it actually works with a mechanical system supported by springs and many pins. After putting the silicone in the tube on it, a funnel is attached to the end and fixed to the silicone tube. Using the trigger system, we can make the silicone come out of the end of the tube. It also has a long pin to drain the tube and restore the trigger system. When we pull it back, the system is in vain.
